About the Role
We are seeking a talented freelance video editor to join our team on a project basis. At Vision Play, you will collaborate with our creative team to produce compelling video content that aligns with our clients’ brand identities and marketing objectives. From promotional videos to social media content, you will play a crucial role in helping us deliver engaging visual experiences that resonate with our clients’ target audiences.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished video content that meets project requirements and client specifications as per briefs.
• Develop unique and trendy videos that resonate with the target audience.
• Develop innovative concepts and storylines that effectively communicate our clients’ messaging.
• Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and sound to enhance the overall video quality and impact.
• Collaborate with our creative team and clients to understand project objectives, brand guidelines, and target audience preferences.
• Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Revise video edits based on feedback from clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, video editing best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our video editing capabilities and offerings.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of video projects and styles ranging from promotional videos to social media content.
• Strong understanding of video editing techniques, storytelling principles, and visual aesthetics.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with teams and clients.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality video content.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working in a digital marketing agency or similar environment is a plus.
• Proficiency in editing softwares such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
